Life on Expert Level
I have had the privilege to know many experts in my life. I have known experts in music, religion, billiards, and bikes, each has tapped into a beautiful part of the human experience with their perspective and passion. When a true expert tells you about their craft, they tell you a little bit about that thing and a lot about life. Understanding a single subject deeply is like having a connection into the underparts of humanity where the profound lives.
I had a boyfriend after college who loved bikes; riding with him taught me about life. I come back to those lessons I learned many times over the years.
